Principal dentist, Barry Lemon BDS graduated in 2008 from Dundee University and spent the following four years at Kirriemuir Dental Practice. It was during this time that his natural approach to treating nervous patients and children shone through.
In August 2014, Barry and Francesca (pictured below) were delighted to take ownership of Bluewater Dental and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know their new patients and expand the treatments that the practice offers. In 2015, Barry was delighted to win Scottish Dentist of the Year at the Scottish Dental Awards. Over the past few years, Barry has developed his love of orthodontics and is an Invisalign and Quick Straight Teeth practitioner. In his spare time, Barry enjoys downhill biking, rugby and spending time with his little girls, Saskia (3) and Genevieve (1).
Craig joined the practice in 2017 following graduation from Glasgow University. Previously, Craig worked in Coatbridge and Dumfries helping nervous dental patients and takes great pride in his ability to work with these patients. Craig is committed to providing the best possible care for his patients by performing a very high level of dentistry with a smile. Craig enjoys the friendly, team approach and energy about the practice. He hopes the patients like it too! In his spare time, Craig enjoys rugby, skiing and going for walks with the dog.
As managing partner, Francesca deals with the financial, marketing and management areas of the business. In her spare time, she is a radio presenter with a passion for whisky.
Lesley lives in Lochwinnoch with her husband and wee dog Oscar, who is infamous in the village. She has worked in the dental profession for a total of 20 years with a couple of breaks, and with 5 grandsons and a granddaughter, life is very never dull !!
Charlene has over 20 years experience as a dental nurse and is often found smiling and chatting away with our patients at the reception desk. In her spare time, Charlene enjoys exploring and hill walking.
Shonah is originally from Oban and had enjoyed being a dental nurse for over 20 years. She lives locally with her husband and little girl, Grace. In her spare time she enjoys running and swimming and especially loves running Glen Lora.
Samantha joined Bluewater dental as a trainee nurse in August 2016 and qualified with us in January 2018. In Sam’s spare time she enjoys walking, baking and spending time her two children, partner and dog..
